ABC/Randy HolmesSnoop Dogg has become the latest celebrity to voice his opinion over the lack of nominations for black actors for this year’s Academy Awards. While Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee has voiced plans to boycott the ceremony, Snoop won’t be tuning in when the show airs next month.
The rapper has taken to Instagram to vent his frustration with the Academy Awards. “Somebody was actually like am I gonna watch the motherf****** Oscars. F*** no,” he said about the annual ceremony in a video clip.
“What the f*** am I going to watch that bulls*** for? They ain’t got no n***** nominated,” he added. “All these great movies and all this great s*** ya’ll keep stealing from us. F*** you! F*** you!”
The 88th annual Academy Awards airs February 28 on ABC.
