This Saturday, Toronto’s beloved son Drake will serve as SNL’s first host and musical guest of 2014. Joining the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake as those recently tapped for double duty on the long-running sketch show, Drake’s acting chops are certainly well-refined, having began his career in entertainment as “Jimmy” on Canadian teen drama Degrassi. Which begs the question, a Wheelchair Jimmy skit has to be in the cards, right? Check out NBC’s promo vid below and be sure to into SNL at 10 CST this weekend. Full recap sure to follow next week.
