Sevyn Says Fans Can Expect New Music July 17

Image Courtesy Atlantic Records(NEW ORLEANS) — Fans have been waiting patiently for Sevyn’s debut album, On the Verge. Still, they won’t have to wait much longer for new music.

Although the R&B singer hasn’t announced a release date for her album, she tells ABC Radio at the Essence Music Festival 2015 in New Orleans that she plans to release new music later this month.

“I’m a singer/songwriter; a lot of people know that. And I had certain songs that I didn’t know if I wanted to carry over to my album because I didn’t want to bring that energy over, but I still love them,” she says.

“I feel like even though I’m not in that space, somebody is going through it. So I was like I wanna put that out anyway,” Sevyn continues. “So I’m putting new music out on the 17th. I’m very excited about that.”

Sevyn has already released  “Don’t Kill the Fun” with Chris Brown and her latest single, “4th Street,” which are expected to appear on her album. On the Verge is set to be released later this year.
