Big Sean gave back to his community by hosting a turkey giveaway in his hometown of Detroit on Tuesday. The rapper and his Sean Anderson Foundation provided free turkeys to help families in need this Thanksgiving.
“This turkey giveaway is an awesome way [to give back],” Sean tells Detroit’s WXYZ-TV. “It feels good to see people excited to see me and I’m excited to see them.”
The rapper was joined by his mother Myra, comedian Mike Epps and Detroit Piston Chauncey Billups in passing out turkey baskets and taking pictures with fans.
“Me and @bigsean giving back in Detroit on the turkey drive, what a great city!” tweeted Epps.
