Variety reports that actress Kat Graham will portray Jada Pinkett Smith, who was a close associate of ‘Pac when they attended the Baltimore School for the Arts — they remained friends up until the rappers untimely passing in 1996.
The new cast member joins Demetrius Shipp, Jr. as Tupac and Walking Dead star Danai Gurira as Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur.
The film, whose title is taken from Shakur’s fourth studio album, is currently shooting in Atlanta.
