Robin Thicke’s Latest Album Sells Fewer than 54 Copies in Australia


Image Courtesy Interscope RecordsRobin Thicke has seemingly gone from a world-wide phenom with his monster international hit “Blurred Lines,” to receiving very little support with his latest album, Paula, named after his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton.

Unlike his 24,000 first-week sales in the U.S., the singer has sold fewer than 54 copies of his latest record in Australia, according to disc also failed to crack the ARIA Top 500.  The number 500 album on that list is a Blondie compilation, which sold just 54 copies in Australia last week.

By comparison, Thicke’s album, Blurred Lines, entered the Australian album chart at No. 4 last year.

Things aren’t much better in the U.K., where Thicke sold just 530 copies of Paula in its first week of release there.
