Robin Thicke Won’t Say If He’s Wooed Paula Patton Back

by

Harper SmithRobin Thicke has been relentless in apologizing to his estranged wife, Paula Patton.  He’s even dedicated an entire album to her, Paula, along with the album’s subsequent music videos. Still, the R&B singer refused to say if his wife has responded to his repeated pleas for forgiveness and reconciliation.

“That’s all private. I can’t speak for her,” Thicke said on Wednesday’s Good Morning America.

Robin and Paula, who have one son, announced their separation last February. The couple, who first met when Robin was just 14 years old, have been married since 2005.

Robin has been very open about his feelings for his wife.  However, his “begging tour,” as some fans are calling it, wasn’t necessarily premeditated.

“I actually have no idea what I’m doing. I’m just kind of flying by the seat of my pants with this one,” Thicke confessed. “I’m just trying to make something artistic out of a very difficult time, you know.”

Despite the background drama, fans who do pick up Paula shouldn’t expect all sad songs, Robin told GMA. “I didn’t want it to be all depressing because I didn’t want her to listen to it and make her sad only, you know?” Thicke said.  “So I wanted there to be moments where she had hope and positivity…that her and I could still have a great life.”

Paula is out now.
