After taking aim at Ciara not too long ago, Rihanna started dueling with G.O.O.D Music’s first lady, Teyana Taylor, on social media late Tuesday evening.
Nearly two weeks after Teyana posted a video on Instagram of herself singing “Caught Up in the Rapture,” Ri Ri got her male hairstylist, Yusef Williams, to perform a parody video of Taylor while donning a curly black wig, fitted hat, and sneakers.
Once Taylor, who happens to be good friends of Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and current girlfriend Karrueche Tran, caught wind of the post, she tweeted, “Don’t play wit me @rihanna f**k all this industry sh**, YOU & I know each other VERY well. Throwing subs 4 wat? u got my #, don’t show off.”
She continued, “i sing caught in the rapture on IG then she posts her boy singing the same song, the same part, with curly hair and a snap back??? #PETTY. … petty is petty and shade is shade, b***h knew what the f**k she was doing.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna tweeted and then deleted, “I REFUSE to help your career…you will NOT get an @ from me! Not til you pay me! #nomorefreepromo #iRefuse.” She later wrote, “I hate broke b****es.
Taylor quickly responded that Rihanna’s net worth matches the amount of people she’s been intimate with.
“Ya net worth & ya body count go neck to neck,” Taylor tweeted. “90 million dollars & 90 million n****s diving in that b***h box.”
Rihanna opted not to respond to Teyana’s final jab and instead promoted her upcoming fall collection with MAC Cosmetics, which arrives next month.
