Rihanna made an appearance at Hard Rock Café Paris on Thursday to announce the release of a charity t-shirt in partnership with the famous restaurant and casino chain.
The singer tweeted a picture of herself standing next to the limited-edition merchandise, which features an original design and artwork as part of Hard Rock’s Artist Spotlight Series.
A portion of all t-shirt proceeds will go to the Clara Lionel Foundation, which Rihanna started in 2012 in to improve cancer treatment in Barbados in honor of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Brathwaite. The organization has already received a $200,000 donation from the Hard Rock.
“This charity is very near and dear to my heart and I’m proud to announce Hard Rock’s donation of $200,000 to the Clara Lionel Foundation, as well as showcase my shirt and spotlight merchandise,” said Rihanna in a statement. “I’m honored to join some of the biggest names in music who have been celebrated with shirt designs as part of Hard Rock’s Spotlight Series.”
