Rihanna has landed another high fashion magazine cover. The singer fronts the July/August issue of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, in which she dons a mesh veil and Cartier jewels.
The singer poses in Middle Eastern clothing for the mag, in a series of photos featuring an interesting tagline: “Rihanna of Arabia: The new modesty, cover up in style.”
Shot by photographer Ruven Afanador, RiRi expressed how much she enjoyed the finished pictures, tweeting, “@BazaarArabia shot by my new fave photographer, Ruven.”
“I wanted to do something high fashion, but still traditional to their culture and that’s what we’re doing, we’re having fun with it” she says during an on-set interview, video of which has been posted to the magazine’s Facebook page. She adds that the photographer made everything look “magical.”
