Rihanna‘s “Work,” featuring Drake, has climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
According to the publication, the reggae-inspired tune marks Rih Rih’s 14th chart-topper and pushes her past a tie with Michael Jackson — she now only sits behind Mariah Carey with 18 hits and The Beatles with 20 toppers. The song also is Drake’s second to top the Hot 100 following his previous 2010 duet with Rih on “What’s My Name?”
In addition, “Work” has helped the Barbados-born singer and Canadian rapper extend the record of non-American-born acts leading the chart to 33 weeks.
After learning the news, Rihanna took to Twitter to express her gratitude. “#WORK tops Billboard #Hot100!! Navy you killed it this week! #NavyRDie,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, Drizzy thanked Rihanna for the collaboration. “Two number ones and they are both cause of you…Midas Touch Riri. Thank you!!!” Drake wrote on Instagram, along with a caption of him hugging her.
