Rick Ross dons a blue fur coat and exposes his belly on the cover of The Source magazine’s November issue, which is one of two 25th anniversary covers that the magazine plans to release later this month.
In the accompanying interview, the rapper discusses success his career and how it feels to grace the cover. “It feel good as hell,” the rapper says of his accomplishments. “When you look at these dope a** covers, just being on ‘the bible,’ it still means that much to me.”
The Bawse also talks about recording his upcoming album Mastermind, due out on December 17. “I took my time,” he says. “I toured with the team. Last album, I toured with the team and went back into this album. The approach production wise, the overall agenda for the music and the album, I took my time.”
Ross encourages everyone to support the mag, which has supported his career. “I’m going into my sixth album, my fifth [Source] cover,” he adds, “just letting you know that every year they [the Source] supported the team MMG. Get ready for the craziest Ricky Rozay story, as soon as you see me on the cover, pick it up. Even if I’m not on the cover, still pick it up. It’s the culture.”
Rozay’s Source cover hits newsstands November 26.
