Rick Ross’ “Mastermind” Projected to Debut Atop Billboard 200 Chart

by

Def JamRick Ross could potentially earn his fifth chart-topping album next week.

According to Hits Daily Double, the rapper’s sixth studio album, Mastermind is projected to sell between 145,000 to 160,000 in its opening week. Industry forecasters also suggest Rozay will beat out Pharrrell’s new album G I R L, which is expected to sell between 85,000 to 95,000 copies.

For both entertainers the projections fall far below the sales start of their previous albums. Ross’ 2012 effort God Forgives, I Don’t sold 218,000 copies while Skateboard P’s last solo album, 2006′s In My Mind, sold more than 140,000 copies.

If the sales estimates prove to be accurate, it will also mark the lowest first-week sales for both their careers.

The official sales tally will be available on Wednesday.
