Jay Z and longtime manager John Meneilly have reportedly decided to end their business relationship, which spanned over a decade.
One source tells the New York Daily News the decision was “amicable and mutual,” but another unnamed insider claims it wasn’t what Meneilly wanted. “It wasn’t his choice,” the source says.
While its unclear where the pair currently stand, Meneilly has been part of Hov’s team for over ten years. He was instrumental in brokering the deal with Samsung for Hov’s Magna Carta Holy Grail campaign and facilitating the sale of Rocawear in 2007.
Calls to the rapper and Meneilly were unsuccessful.
