Report: Sean Kingston Named in Gang Rape Lawsuit

by

Facebook.com/SeanKingstonSean Kingston and two other men are being sued by a woman who claims she was forced to have sex with the three in a Seattle hotel room in July 2010, a claim Sean denies, TMZ.com reports.

The website says Carissa Capeloto, now 22, claims she had smoked pot and downed between seven and ten shots of vodka when she was taken to a hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Justin Bieber concert where Sean had also performed.

Capeloto claims in her lawsuit that Sean, his bodyguard and a member of his band gang-raped her while she was “obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent.”

Capeloto says a friend finally arrived and rescued her and police were called to the scene.  She says she was treated at a local hospital.

TMZ reports criminal charges against Sean were dropped in 2010 after investigators determined Capeloto’s claims were not credible.

Capeloto claims in her lawsuit that she can barely sleep and experiences mood swings and panic attacks.  She is seeking a minimum of $5 million in damages.

Sean has filed court papers insisting that the sex was 100 percent consensual.  A trial is scheduled for November.
