Future has remained silent following reports that Ciara ended their engagement. BuzzFeed quotes a “close friend” of the rapper as saying that we probably won’t hear his side of the story until he releases his upcoming mixtape, Evol, which is “love” spelled backwards and pronounced evil.
“Future’s one of those dudes you don’t really interview,” the source said. “To know what’s going on in his life that day, you gotta go to the studio that day. He just takes longer to put his words together and his thoughts.”
The friend adds that his new project will shed light on his alleged infidelity. “Future has a weird way to love. You might see it’s not all the way right, but it’s still love. It’s not traditional love,” he said.
If the break up rumors prove to be true, the source believes that Future may have been overwhelmed. “That love thing kinda hindered him I think, it slowed him down mentally,” the friend said.
