Aftermath RecordsDetroit’s own Eminem is in negotiations to provide original music for an upcoming TV series about Detroit police detectives investigating the murder of an undercover officer, Deadline reports.
The show, based on the 2002 movie Narc, is being developed by Paramount TV and the movie’s original writer and director Joe Carnahan. According to Deadline, the rapper is in talks to become music supervisor and executive producer on the show, a deal that also would involve him writing some original music for the program. A pilot has been written although the show has no television home yet.
