TMZ cites unnamed sources as saying that it was the aftertaste of Madonna’s lipstick that seemingly caused Drake to cringe, then lean forward and cover his mouth following their prolonged smooch. In addition, unidentified sources tell the gossip site Drake enjoyed their unexpected smooch, adding that Madge was initially only supposed to dance around him as he sat in a chair on stage.
While Drake hasn’t publicly expressed his feeling on the kiss, Madonna has already responded with a single tweet for her haters. “If you don’t like me and still watch everything I do, B***h, you’re a fan,” her post reads.
