Rumors have swirled for months that Brandy has split from her fiancé, music exec Ryan Press. Now, her brother Ray J has seemingly confirmed it.
Ray J also shared what type of guy he’d like to see the R&B singer and single mom settle down with. “I’m overprotective so I don’t really care as long as she’s happy. You know?” Ray J tells ABC News Radio.
“Every guy is crazy. I know I am so I just want to make sure she’s happy and then I got her back — whatever she wants to do,” the 33-year-old reality star continues.
Brandy and Ryan confirmed their engagement in December of 2012. This would’ve been Brandy’s first marriage although for a while, she pretended to have tied the knot with her daughter Sy’rai‘s father, Robert Smith.
Ray J next will be seen on the season four premiere of WeTV’s Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, which returns Saturday at 10 p.m. Eastern.
