Image Group LA/ABCOnly three months after he released HITNRUN: Phase One, Prince surprised fans Saturday with another musical installment.
HITNRUN: Phase Two is 12 more songs from the singer/songwriter. The new album also includes previously released tracks, “Baltimore” and “Screwdriver.”
Prince announced the album, which took four years to create and features a 16-piece horn section, via Twitter, saying, “PLEASE EVERYONE PURCHASE THE PRODUCT AFTER LISTENING.”
As fans have gotten a taste of the new music, available exclusively on Tidal, Prince has gone to Twitter to praise the album.
“I love love love it. smile I have no complaints!” he said.
