Following his New Girl appearance, Prince and his all-female band, 3rdEyeGirl, have released “PretzelBodyLogic,” the first single lifted from their collaborative, debut album, Plectrumelectrum.
A two-minute preview of the rock-infused track was posted on the band’s YouTube page. “Pretzel body logic, yet so much fun/dreaming of each other on each other’s tongue. Taste the bittersweet undone/Now we both too sleepy to get the gun,” sings the music icon on the hook. Although the title recalls the title of the 1974 album by classic rock band Steely Dan, Pretzel Logic, the song bears no resemblance to the Steely Dan number.
No release date has been announced yet for Plectrumelectrum. The full song is available for purchase via iTunes.
