Lil Wayne has previously unreleased music that has surfaced online.
Without warning, fans were treated to a new banger called “Trouble,” which was posted on SoundCloud. The song’s producer, StreetRunner, explained: “This song leaked nearly a decade ago while [Weezy] was working on Tha Carter III. Now here it is mixed and mastered by Tommy Peluso.”
Over the piano-driven song, Wayne surprisingly reveals his suicidal thoughts, drug dealing past and stealing “from the rich so the poor can eat.”
In related news, fans can catch Weezy performing on The Dedication Tour alongside Rae Sremmurd, which wraps up in March.
