Def JamKanye West accompanied his wife Kim Kardashian on her trip to Armenia, and late Sunday night he performed in a free, surprise concert at Swan Lake-Karapi Lich in Yerevan. Apparently, his wife was surprised as well. Prior to the performance, she tweeted, “Crazy night! Kanye wakes me up & says he’s doing a free concert in Yerevan, Armenia! I throw on sweats & we go!”
The concert included versions of “Stronger,” “Jesus Walks,” “Power,” and “Touch the Sky,” among other hits. Yeezy wrapped the show with a performance of “Good Life,” during which he jumped into a lake and danced. He encouraged his fans to follow him, but police eventually pulled the plug on the concert after several hundred people entered the water.
After the show Kardashian tweeted, “Thank you to everyone who came out last night to see Kanye perform!”
