Pharrell Williams’ latest collaboration is with director Spike Lee. Lee will direct a live stream of the “Happy” singer’s concert at the Apollo Theater in New York City next Tuesday, June 3. The stream is part of the “American Express Unstaged” live music series.
In a statement, Pharrell says of Lee’s involvement, “I know with his direction, this will be a really special experience.”
You can see Pharrell on the Apollo stage by logging on to AMEXUnstaged.com next Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern time. In the days leading up to the show, you can visit the website to watch videos of Pharrell and Lee discussing the Grammy winner’s music.
Between now and Monday, you can upload a photo of yourself to the website –- provided you are at least 18 years old — and it may be shown on stage during Pharrell’s performance.
