Pharrell is on top of his game these days and his success has caught the attention of Missy Elliott, who congratulated the producer via Twitter.
“@Pharrell Hope u see this tweet @Pharrell but I’m so proud of u!” she recently wrote.
Missy was first introduced to Pharrell by Timbaland, who was once in a production group with the hitmaker. “U been sweet & gifted since our highschool days! I love u:)” she added.
Shortly after, Pharrell responded with a compliment. “We all know the incredible artist/character @MissyElliott is and continues to be.” he wrote and added, “…get ready.”
While it’s unknown if the duo will collaborate on Missy’s long-awaited seventh album, Block Party, it would mark their second time working together after creating her 2005 song “On & On.”
