The “Momo Challenge” is an alleged cyberbullying that spreads through social media and cell phones. The ad is targeting kids watching Peppa Pig, Fortnite and YouTube Kids.

The creepy avatar — with a stretched smile and bulging eyes — is the work of Japanese artist Midori Hayashi, who is not associated with the challenge.
