Nicki Minaj‘s has made history with her bootylicious video for “Anaconda.” The visual racked up 19.6 million views within the first 24 hours following its release on August 19.
“WE BROKE THE RECORD BABY!!!!! Anaconda Video 19.6 million views in 24 hrs!!!!” tweeted Nicki to her 17 million followers.
Nicki and her assets surpassed the previous 24-hour recorder Miley Cyrus, whose “Wrecking Ball” video received 19.3 million views in September 2013. The rapper attracted more than 37 million views in first 36 hours.
The Sir Mix-A-Lot-sampling track will appear on Nicki’s upcoming album The Pinkprint, due this fall.
The news comes just a few days after Nicki made history on the Billboard charts by topping Michael Jackson for most appearances on the Hot 100.
