Nicki Minaj Returns to ‘Saturday Night Live’ Next Month

ABC/Fred LeeNicki Minaj has become the latest hip-hop star to take over Saturday Night Live this season. The rapper is scheduled to appear on the sketch comedy show next month.

The rapper is confirmed to perform on the December 6 episode alongside host James Franco.  It’ll be her second time on the show. She previously appeared on SNL back in 2011.

Viewers can expect Nicki to showcase material from her upcoming album The Pinkprint, slated for a December 15 release.

In the meantime, fans will get to see Nicki in all of her glory during the 2014 American Music Awards, where she will debut her new single “Bed of Lies” with Skylar Grey.  That show airs Sunday, November 23, beginning at 8 p.m. on ABC.
