After much anticipation, Nicki Minaj has announced the release of her new song, “Pills N Potions,” which serves as the first single from her upcoming, third album, The Pink Print.
“Pills n potions/We’re overdosing/I’m angry, but I still love you,” she sings on the track, which was produced by Dr Luke and co-written by Ester Dean.
The rapper recently revealed that her song shows a “fuzzy glimpse into a very rocky relationship.” She also added that her new offering serves as a great example of what fans can expect of her follow-up to 2012′s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
“You’re going to get a new Nicki mixed with some old Nicki,” she explained on the red carpet last weekend at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. “I’m super excited about it.”
