Nicki Minaj has released a new song called “All Things Go,” from her upcoming album, The Pinkprint, which she says will be her most personal project to date.
Without holding anything back, the rapper details having an abortion, accepting a marriage proposal, and losing her cousin to violence. She even foresees taking her unborn child to preschool in seven years.
“I know its sudden, look at what we’ve become/I just want you to know that I did it all for you,” she raps on the track, which was produced by Boi-1da, Vinylz, and Alen Ritter and co-written by Ester Dean.
Shortly after its release, “All Things Go” became a trending topic on Twitter. One fan tweeted, “respect & appreciate @NICKIMINAJ for being as candid & vulnerable as she is on ‘All Things Go.'”
“All Things Go” is now available for download on iTunes. In addition, fans can expect The Pinkprint to arrive on December 15, featuring contributions from Beyonce, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Jessie Ware, Drake, and Lil Wayne.
