Aside from her curvy bod, Nicki Minaj is well known for donning colorful wigs and dramatic weaves. However, for the first time ever, the rapper decided to show off the length of her natural hair while preparing for a photo shoot.
The rapper posted a series of images via Instagram on Thursday, including one in which she is is seen holding the end of her pony tail and looking into a mirror in her dressing room.
“No perm. No extensions,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. In another image, Nicki dons a black fishnet bathing suit with her natural hair styled into a top bun.
Fans quickly responded by complementing the rapper for showing her softer side. One wrote, ” Awww you look gorg.. stay like this,” while another commented, “So in love with this natural hair look.”
Nicki is currently recording the follow-up to 2012’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
