Ne-Yo has been tapped to perform for a good cause. The entertainer will take stage for the inaugural Live 4 the Give Holiday Benefit Concert, which will raise money for family-focused nonprofit organizations.
“The nonprofits benefiting from Live 4 the Give do amazing work for underprivileged families and children, and I am honored to be part of an event that makes selfless acts the No. 1 priority,” said Ne-Yo in a statement. “Paying it forward and giving back is important to me as my foundation, the Compound Foundation, works to enhance the well-being of youth growing up in foster care and group homes. Our goal is to support bright futures for young people by helping them forge healthy relationships and pursuing their dreams. With this concert, Live 4 the Give brings all of us together to be part of a groundbreaking campaign.”
Live 4 the Give’s unique digital giving campaign is allowing fans to win tickets through mobile voting and charitable donations for the event, which helps support disadvantaged youth and families in need during the holiday giving season.
Jennifer Hudson, who will be making a guest appearance at the concert, comments, “Live 4 the Give can make a huge impact on the lives of New York City’s less fortunate. We’re thankful to all our fans around the world for coming together to help those who need it most this holiday season.”
With a guest appearance from Sheryl Crow, the event will take place at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on Monday, December 2 at 9 p.m. Visit Live4theGive.org to learn more.
