As promised, Michelle Williams has released the visual to her latest single, “Fire,” which is lifted from her upcoming album, Journey to Freedom.
In the clip, directed by famed photographer Derek Blanks, the former Destiny’s Child member is surrounded by bright and fiery-colored light.
“It feels just like fire, fire caught up in my bones/ Don’t leave me alone, don’t leave me alone/ Oh my, my little light/ I need to feel that heat come from your fire,” she sings on the mid-tempo track.
The Harmony Samuels-produced song is the second single from Michelle’s fourth studio album, Journey to Freedom, which is slated to arrive this fall.
