K. Michelle puts a spotlight on bad relationships in the video for “Can’t Raise a Man,” the second single from her debut album, Rebellious Soul.
In the Benny Boom-directed clip, shots of the singer standing next to a waterfall are intercut with film vignettes of women struggling with cheating, abusive and drug addicted men. The singer’s cautionary tale ends with the women ultimately leaving after realizing that they can’t change a grown man’s behavior.
After receiving an outpouring of compliments on the visual, K. Michelle thanked her fans on Instagram. “Thank you all for the continuous support on this journey and throughout my career,” she writes. “It’s because of each of you that I will keep fighting for what I believe in and I will never stop.”
As previously reported, fans will be able for download Michelle’s free mixtape Still No F**ks Givenon Valentine’s Day.
