Meek Mill Slams Drake in New Diss Track, Wanna Know

by

Image Courtesy Warner Bros. RecordsIt may have taken Meek Mill nearly a week to respond, but the rapper has finally issued a retaliation song called “Wanna Know,” which takes aim at his new nemesis Drake, who recently unleashed two scathing tracks targeting Meek, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back.”

As expected Meek continued to bash Drizzy for allegedly hiring a ghostwriter named Quentin Miller to write his rhymes, but he also gave everyone a history lesson on Drake’s previous beefs, including his fight with Chris Brown: “When that s*** went down with Chris, you wrote a check,” Meek raps over the Jahlil Beats and Swizz Beatz production.

After alluding to Drake’s breakup with Rihanna, Meek then points out Drake’s his brawl with Diddy at a nightclub last year — “Puffy almost caught a domestic when he smacked that b****” — and brought up the unconfirmed rumor that Drake was urinated on by T.I.’s friend at the Takers premiere.

Meek even hints that he’s just getting warmed up: “Real ni**** back in style / This s*** is lit / This that Ja Rule s*** and 50 Cent.”

Although Meek referred to Drake as a “buttercup” and compared him to the infamous Milli Vanilli, the Toronto rapper doesn’t seem too concerned. Soon after the track was released, Drake posted a picture of himself laughing on Instagram and then later reminded everyone about his OVO Festival this weekend.
