According to TMZ, the water went to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan admidst the crisis in which the city’s water has become contaminated with lead. In addition, the rapper also made a donation to the Flint Child and Family Health Development Fund.
The rapper’s donation comes just a day after he made a promise on Instagram to contribute. “My money is in and my job done,” he wrote, adding: “#DONATETOFLINT show some humanity!”
Meek is still under court supervision for violating his probation, but sources tell the gossip site that the rapper’s motivations have nothing to do with swaying a judge.
