Maxwell is gearing up to launch a star-studded, seven-day Caribbean cruise next spring.
Organizers have announced that during the cruise — which takes place May 3, 2015 — fans will enjoy headlining showcases from Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi, Joe, Chrisette Michele, Robert Glasper, Eric Roberson, Norman Brown and Boney James. In addition, Brian Culbertson, Leela James, The Wailers, and Marion Meadows are also scheduled to perform.
Hosted by comedian DL Hughley, the week-long event, officially dubbed Maxwell + The 7 Seas, will set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas from Port Canaveral, Florida to St. Thomas, St. Maarten and the private island Cococay.
“I can’t wait to set sail across the ocean, beneath the surface of the soul,” said Maxwell, who will serve as a host for various VIP opportunities.
