Mary J. Blige is among the newly announced list of performers confirmed for this year’s BET Experience, which will take place in Los Angeles, California.
According to the network, the three-day event will begin Friday, June 27 with showcases from Maxwell, Jill Scott and Marsha Ambrosius inside the Staples Center. The following day, concertgoers will see performances from A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, K. Michele, Ty Dolla $ign and August Alsina as well as what’s being billed as “a very special hip-hop reunion you won’t want to miss” on Saturday, June 28.
MJB will help close the weekend festivities on Sunday, June 29 alongside Trey Songz, Jennifer Hudson and Tamar Braxton. Single day tickets and three-day packages will be available this Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. ET via BETExperience.com.
“The BET Experience was a major success with over 100,000 attendees and we are thrilled to return to the City of Los Angeles during ‘BET AWARDS’ weekend,” said Debra Lee, chairman and CEO of BET Networks. “This year we will again provide a weekend filled with music, entertainment, and culture and are excited to once again partner with AEG to pull off another BET Experience.”
