Courtesy Caesars EntertainmentMariah Carey was due to perform in Brussels, Belgium this Easter Sunday — her 46th birthday — but in the wake of the terrorist attacks there early this week, she’s decided to scrap the show.
The singer tweeted, “I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour.”
She added, “I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs.” “Lambs,” of course, being Mariah’s pet name for her devoted fans.
Mariah is set to perform Saturday in Luxembourg and Tuesday in Copenhagen, Denmark.
