Vallery Jean/FilmMagicLudacris has decided to perform at none other than Guantanamo Bay, in Cuba this Fourth of July.
But, do not be alarmed — the Grammy-award winning rapper will make his grand appearance at the Navy base’s Windward Ferry Landing, not the prison.
The military base’s annual “Freedom Festival” concert is hosting Ludacris as one of its headlining acts. Other music groups that have performed at the base in past years include Magic!, Plain White T’s and the Bella Electric Strings.
The Miami Herald reports that the festival is free of charge for the 5,000 plus troops, Navy families and other residents who may attend.
Ludacris has continued to entertain his fans this year — he co-hosted the 2016 Billboard Music Awardsin May, alongside R&B chanteuse, Ciara.
