ABC/Randy HolmesLL Cool J‘s legacy soon will be cemented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that the rapper will be honored with its 2,571st star on January 21. It will be placed in front of Hollywood’s Hard Rock Café. LL’s longtime friends Queen Latifah and Sean “Diddy” Combs will be on hand during the unveiling.
“LL Cool J is one of the most popular recording artists as well as a television star. He has a huge following and we are proud to honor him on the Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, in a statement.
The star will celebrate LL’s 30-year career, during which he’s earned multiple accolades including two Grammy Awards and an NAACP Image Award.
