Lil Wayne is offering up free music as a consolation for his oft-delayed album, Tha Carter V, which was supposed to arrive last year. To tide us over, the rapper has released his new mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2.
The rapper’s tape boasts guest appearances from Drake, 2 Chainz, Shanell, and Mack Maine. In addition, he also enlisted his rumored girlfriend Christina Milian on the remix of Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love.”
“You won’t be sorry and I thank you for your patience,” Wayne raps over Queen Bey’s tune while Milian sings about riding on his “skateboard.”
The mixtape, which serves as the follow-up to Wayne’s 2011 set, sees him revamping Rae Sremmurd‘s “No Type,” Bobby Shmurda‘s “Hot Ni**a,” and OG Maco‘s “U Guessed It.”
