Michael Tullberg/Getty Images for CoachellaLil Wayne isn’t quite ready for a truce with his former label Cash Money as the rapper asked a crowd of fans to chant “f*** Cash Money” at a recent festival.
During his performance at the rescheduled MassRoots 420 Rally in Denver, Wayne incited the crowd to curse his former label. In a video that surfaced on May 22, Lil Wayne can be seen telling the crowd,”F*** the bulls***…and…f*** Cash Money.”
Lil Wayne was spotted with his former mentor, Cash Money CEO Birdman, in January at a Miami club. The two were thought to be back on good terms with Birdman announcing to the crowd, “This my motherf****** son and I’ma die for him, I’ma live for him, and I’ll motherf****** kill for him, ya heard me? That aint gon’ never change. It’s YMCMB for life.”
