Over the weekend, Young Money president Mack Maine teased on Twitter that Lil Wayne is working on a sequel to his No Ceilings mixtape. Now the rapper has confirmed the news, and even revealed the official release date.
Wayne announced Monday that No Ceilings 2 will be released Thanksgiving, November 26. “Let’s do it…Thxgiving…lets eat!,” Wayne tweeted of the second installment.
No Ceilings 2 will serve as the second mixtape Wayne’s released this year, following his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 project, which arrived back in January.
The rapper’s first No Ceilings mixtape was released six years ago, on Halloween 2009.
