Lauryn Hill will not tolerate disrespect. Last week, Hill arrived an hour late to perform at the House of Blues in Chicago, which prompted one fan to voice his disapproval.
In video footage, obtained by TMZ, Hill addresses her heckler, who allegedly flipped her off and started shouting about her opening performance.
“I don’t play that. I don’t need to win you over and you don’t need to win me over,” Hill says to the unidentified man. “You can go and take all your money back.”
Before having security get the man, she adds, “I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything. I do this because I love it and you can get on your blogs, tweet, whatever you want to. I don’t give a rat’s ass.”
