Last week, Keyshia Cole teased fans with Instagram shots from the video for her new single, “Rick James,” featuring Juicy J. Now the singer is giving her loyal following an in-depth look into the upcoming visual.
The singer allowed Fuse News to capture footage from the ’80s-themed video set. “I wanted this to be as fun as possible because I’ve never really [done] a song like that,” she says of the clip.
In the John Colombo-directed video, KC is seeking revenge on her unfaithful boyfriend and chases him down on a custom Glow Candy bike to confront him.
Juicy J gave his praise for Cole’s artistic direction. “Keyshia’s a genius, man. She comes in and she knows what she wants. She makes it happen,” he said.
The song will appear on Keyshia’s long-awaited album, Point of No Return, due out later this year.
