Derek Blanks/Interscope/UniversalIt’s only been two months since Keyshia Cole released her latest album Point of No Return, but the singer already has plans to issue another studio effort.
When asked by a fan if she intends to release another album, maybe in 2016, the singer confirmed via Twitter that fans can expect her seventh effort to arrive sooner than that. “First quarter, ASAP!” she replied.
She also cleared up why there haven’t been any more singles released from the Point of No Return. “Not smart business move to blow up someone that’s leaving (Interscope),” she explained.
Fortunately, that doesn’t mean that she’s abandoning her recent album completely. After shooting accompanying videos to each song, Keyshia revealed that there are more visuals that she may release. “Maybe I’ll just release on my own,” she wrote.
Point of No Return debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200 chart and included contributions from Wale, Future, 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Gavyn Rhone and August Alsina.
