ACL Music FestivalIf you’re a fan of fine, fine music – and of course you are – you need to get yourself to Austin, Texas this fall for the 15th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival, which this year celebrates their milestone anniversary with a talent lineup that’s even more impressive than the fest’s usual A-list roster.
Grammy-winner Kendrick Lamar will headline the diverse bill, sharing top billing with rockers Radiohead and Mumford & Sons, and country music stars Chris Stapleton and Willie Nelson and Kacey Musgraves.
The festival takes place across two consecutive weekends – September 30-October 2, and October 7-9 – at Austin’s Zilker Park. More than 130 bands will play on a total of eight stages during the the festival .
In anticipatation of the crowds and in response to feedback from past attendees, organizers say they’ve taken numerous steps to make this year’s festival a better experience for all, including more water stations and improved concessions and shopping, a family entrance and shaded “Austin Kiddle Limits”area, and adjusted stage placement for better sound and crowd control.
Tickets for the Austin City Limits Festival are on sale now via ACLFestival.com in a variety of packages, including a three-day general admission pass that’ll cost you $225.
