Beginning at 4 p.m. PT, the rapper will ask eight challenging questions referring to each of the eight songs from his new project. The first person to reply with the correct answer to each question will win a merch package including a T-shirt, hat and backpack.
“Listen to the lyrics closely because these will not be easy!” the lyric contest rules read.
Meanwhile, Kendrick’s untitled unmastered. is on pace to become his second number-one album on the Billboard 200 chart, with the album expected to top 170,000 in sales and album-sales equivalent streams in the week ending March 10. Of that sum, perhaps 130,000 to 140,000 could be pure album sales, industry analysts say.
