Earlier this month, Kendrick Lamar surprised fans with a new song “The Blacker the Berry.” And now, it seems he’s surprised his loyal following with a release date for his sophomore album.
On Friday evening, the rapper tweeted a link to pre-order the set, Untitled, which is scheduled to be released on March 23. To ensure that fans know this is not a drill, Kendrick’s website redirects to the iTunes link.
The disc will include his Grammy winning-single “i,” as well as his new offering, “Pay for It,” featuring Jay Rock. The set is the follow-up to 2012’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.
